ORIENTEERING FOR SCOUTS BSA

Orienteering Louisville has been a partner with the Lincoln Heritage Council for years, helping promote orienteering to its youth members in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana.  The club puts on an annual orienteering event for the council and helps with training events throughout the year.  Scouts can also participate in regular club events to complete rank and badge requirements.

NOTE: Camp Crooked Creek is private property of the Boy Scouts of America and is not open to the public.  These maps are intended for Scouting units to use.  Units must register through the council office to go onto camp property.

1-MILE ORIENTEERING COURSE FOR FIRST CLASS RANK

Scouts needing to complete a 1-mile orienteering course for First Class rank 4a can do so at almost any OLOU event throughout the year.  Please see our schedule page for our next event.  If multiple Scouts are coming to an event without their parent/guardian, please have event waivers printed and signed by a parent/guardian and bring to the event.
