ORIENTEERING FOR SCOUTS BSA
Orienteering Louisville has been a partner with the Lincoln Heritage Council for years, helping promote orienteering to its youth members in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The club puts on an annual orienteering event for the council and helps with training events throughout the year. Scouts can also participate in regular club events to complete rank and badge requirements.

Scouts needing to complete a 1-mile orienteering course for First Class rank 4a can do so at almost any OLOU event throughout the year. Please see our schedule page for our next event. If multiple Scouts are coming to an event without their parent/guardian, please have event waivers printed and signed by a parent/guardian and bring to the event.
ORIENTEERING MERIT BADGE
Scouts working on Orienteering Merit Badge need to complete 3 orienteering courses. This can be done at any OLOU event throughout the year. There are also permanent orienteering courses at Kentucky State Parks and some local parks in the Louisville area. Check out our Events Link or Permanent Course page for all the details.
